This application is great! Some of the words are useless like the numbers but most of the time the word of the day is helpfull.

Excellent idea, With sounds.

Provides audio and examples including the word of the day. You can also record yourself to compare the pronunciation. Really helpful.

I only have the free Version. But it is great Fun. My problem that I dont learn.

Ive only had this app for about a week and I think it works brilliantly if a person sticks with it. Ill probably upgrade.

In terms of value for your money cant beat it :p seems to give the basics and essentials for learning another language. Like anything it takes some work but it certainly puts you on the right track.

one word for eternity crap I paid 115 yen but got lite on words two land lots of crap about how I can learn Finnish I am really pissed off with this I am serious about learning Suomilainen but this is backwardness I had to give it a star a star of crapiness Not happy with crappy

Ville Hermanni Valo mustve been included in musicians part. It would be nice to learn the right pronunciation.

I have Fin relatives to help me with grammar, but this helps with vocabulary. Could it be better? For what it does, maybe. Does it do a good job? For what it is, definitely. This isnt a full fledge language course though.

Everytime i try to open this, it crashes!!! This looks like a great app but since i cant open it... Nevermind. Does it just crash on iPod touch? Kiitos, Suomi guy

Very clear pronunciation, easy to read print. Even my young children are able to use it with ease. Live the word bank Wish I could add my own words though.

I like getting a new word per day. My husband, who is Finnish, has found and clarified a couple of errors in the past. I have lost my word bank when my phone crashed. Most words are good. I like having the pronunciation.

I realize this is a free app, and i was OK with the allotment of one vocabulary word a day--Finnish is a difficult language to learn and there is no rush for me to become fluent. I deleted the app on the second day of use when the second vocabulary word i was supposed to learn was "Ho Chi Minh City" (Ho Chi Minh kaupunki in Finnish). Ho Chi Minh City? Really? Im sure that word is incredibly useful while traveling in Finland. Not.
